PROJECT PRESENTATION
THE WAVE INNOVATION GROUP S.R.L. is the beneficiary of a grant under the Regional Program FESR 2021-2027 of the Veneto Region for the implementation of the project “EcoWave MedTech: Sustainable Innovation for a Circular Economy”.
The project, approved with Decree of the Director of the FESR Management Area no. 534 of 14/11/2024 and funded with Decree no. 151 of 21/03/2025, represents an important initiative of technological innovation and environmental sustainability in the medical device manufacturing sector.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Main Objective
Within the framework of Smart Manufacturing (Trajectory 14), the project aims to promote a green transition with a particular focus on the bioeconomy. The main objective is to improve environmental sustainability through the adoption of advanced ecological practices for the development of innovative and sustainable medical devices.
Specific Objectives
Reduction of CO2 emissions through optimization of production processes
Increase in energy efficiency through innovative technologies
Promotion of recycling and significant reduction of waste
Implementation of a circular economy model maximizing the reuse of materials
Valorization of industrial by-products and their reintegration into the value chain
EXPECTED RESULTS
The project aims to achieve the following measurable results:
40% reduction in total waste generated by the production process
60% reduction in hazardous waste
30% increase in the use of by-products or waste in the production process
35% reduction in CO2 emissions
25% increase in overall energy efficiency
15.6 tons/year of waste used as secondary raw materials

The “EcoWave MedTech” project fully complies with the DNSH (Do No Significant Harm) principle, ensuring that none of the planned activities cause significant harm to the environmental objectives of the European Union.
